I am an evolutionary ecologist interested in how change in environments shape the biology of the organisms that live in them. My current research focuses on how urban heat and habitat change influence physiology in lizards (Anolis carolinensis), combining fieldwork, lab experiments, and spatial analysis to connect environmental conditions to fitness outcomes. I am particularly interested in how phenotypes respond to environmental stress, and what that means for the ability of populations to persist and adapt.
