About

I am an evolutionary physiologist interested in how organisms respond to environmental change.

My research combines experimental approaches in physiology and ecology with evolutionary perspectives to investigate variation in organismal performance across environments. I am particularly interested in ectotherms because their physiology provides a powerful framework for understanding how environmental variation translates into consequences for behavior, performance, and fitness.

My doctoral research at Tulane University examined thermal physiology and phenotypic plasticity in green anoles across urban-rural environments in the Gulf Coast. Through this work, I developed expertise in experimental design, thermal physiology, field sampling, controlled laboratory experiments, and quantitative analysis.

As I move into postdoctoral research, I am expanding this foundation toward broader questions of physiological resilience, environmental change, and adaptation.

I am interested in collaborative research that connects organismal physiology with ecology, evolution, and global-change biology.
